Roots is a ministry of transition. Transition from youth to adulthood, from
participating to active service. We desire for our college age to find a place in
the church to serve in new a meaningful ways. We see this age group not as
the future of the church but instead as the church. We provide many
opportunities for worship in and around our community through service
projects as well as Bile Studies and Worship services.
Roots:
This is a sweet time of Worship. We are in the process of
building a full band to lead us in worship to the King. Mike
Woodard brings a message each week this semester. The
topic for this semester is "Just Deal With It." We are dealing
with the issues that we come in to contact with at this time in
your life.
Who are we:
Wednesday Nights @ 8pm.
We meet at Paige and Josh Woodard's house at 3118 S.
9th St. This semester we are working our way through
Nooma, a Rob Bell study. It deals with your relationship
between you and God and how that plays out into the rest of
you relationship and the rest of you life.
We play basketball with people from the church and all over
the surrounding community. It is an awesome time of
fellowship. It is a time to meet new people, stay in shape,
and have a great time. Anyone and everyone is welcome
and you don't have to play to come hang out.
